Italy:  Parents at a Catholic high school in Milan have taken their children out of class because they say teacher and former beauty queen Ileana Tacconelli, 28, is too sexy.  She has not been accused of classroom wrongdoing, but some parents don’t like the idea that she once appeared in a racy video.

Tupelo, MS: A Mississippi lawyer was jailed by a judge  for failing to say the Pledge of Allegiance when everyone in the courtroom was ordered to do so.  Danny Lampley, who was locked up for contempt for five hours, is fighting the contempt charge on free speech grounds by citing Supreme court rulings from the 1940′s.

Oh…just go on and say it man. Did you forget the words to the pledge?

Germany:  This is not a crime, but we think that you should know about this.  It is 92 years since the guns stopped firing in World War I,but we learned in October 2010, that  the war has come to an official end.  Yes, Germany has made its final reparation  payment of $94.4 million to Belgium and France, as required by the Treaty of Versailles.

So Germany was not a deadbeat after all!  Who knew?
