INDONESIA: Authorities here discovered 1,495 pig nosed turtles in two pieces of baggage heading out of the country.  The turtles, considered an endangered species can grow as heavy as 44 pound, and are a favorite of smugglers.  Authorities surmise that the turtles were being transported for resale.

FLORIDA: A Miami Gardens woman was issued a red light camera ticket three months after she died.  Her sister Irene Lieberman, a County Commissioner, attempted to clear up the matter. Unfortunately, she learned to her dismay, that death is not on the list of exceptions that allow the ticket to be quashed.

RIGHT, THIS IS SO IDIOTIC! JUST TRY COLLECTING FROM THE DECEASED…

IOWA: A Des Moines woman was so angry about being defriended on Facebook, she went to the ex-friend’s home and allegedly burned down her garage.  It appears that Jennifer Harris was angry that her target tried to organize a party for her on Facebook and no one wanted to come. Police report that the dispute escalated to defriending and then to arson.

THE NEXT STEP MAY HAVE BEEN MURDER IF AN ARREST HADN’T BEEN MADE!

 

 MEXICO: A would be bank robber rode up to a bank in Mexico City on a skateboard and announced a robbery. He may have made a strange getaway on his skateboard, but the teller set off a silent alarm and the robber waited while she counted out the money.  Police then showed up and arrested the man.
