 WASHINGTON, D.C.: Two aspiring hip hop artists went to a DC recording studio called Copy Catz, where they laid down a track for a new rap song. They then pulled guns and robbed patrons and employees of the studio. The brazen duo got away, leaving behind their recorded song, a rap ode to a Chicago hoodlum.

MARYLAND: The story began: “Now the cameras watching you have cameras watching them.” In Prince George’s County officials have installed surveillance cameras to keep a sharp eye on red light cameras, which angry, gun wielding motorists have been shooting.

        KA-BLAM, POW, POW, KA-BLAM…

 MARYLAND: A woman who bought a painting for $7 at a flea market, only to learn it was an authentic Renoir worth $100,000, got a second surprise – the piece had been stolen over 60 years ago and the rightful owner wanted it back.  The painting was taken from the Baltimore Museum of Art in 1951.

        THE HEADLINE READ: “EASY COME, EASY GO.”

 

WASHINGTON, D.C.: How about this? The FBI has launched a Website to catch bank robbers.  Bankrobbers.fbi.gov features surveillance photos of robbers whom authorities are seeking leads and tips.  Visitors to the site can also search for robbery investigations and see them mapped.

        WHATEVER HAPPENED TO OLD DAYS WHEN THE FBI RELIED ON SNITCHES?
