DENMARK: Pervert alert!! A flasher on roller skates is on the loose in Denmark, where he has shocked at least three women in parks. IOWA: BANG! A short and very sad story! The parents of a Dubuque toddler who shot himself in the face with a handgun he found in the home were each sentenced to five years of probation. NEW MEXICO: BBBBZZZZZZZZZ….. We learn that a vibrating device that claims to fight wrinkles as it rolls over one’s face forced a Southwest Airlines flight to evacuate in Albuquerque. Aviation police in that city report that all passengers were ordered off the plane in early September, 2016, after the so-called “anti-aging” skin roller was discovered in the back of a seat. Authorities report that the fight crew moved the item to the galley, as police searched the plane. Fortunately, no other suspicious items were found. Police indicate no arrests were made.

NEW YORK:  A man held an 81-year-old marine veteran hostage in a squalid upstate motel room for at least four years in order to steal his benefit checks, authorities report. Perry Coniglio was arrested in July 2016, in his room adjoining the victim’s at a motel in Highland, New York, 50 miles north of New York City. Coniglio used brute force to get the mentally diminished veteran to cooperate with him. The elderly man has advance dementia. Police say that the vet received a “tremendous amount of money” each month in Social Security benefits, pension checks and food stamps, although investigators would not divulge the exact total. Coniglio is being held in the Orange County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond.
