Krystal Birdsong's Writings 12

March 31st, 2009 by Leonard Birdsong

Krystal Birdsong passed away in September 2008.  In honor of her memory Birdsong continues to post some of her writings on this blog.  Krystal had a great imagination and was an excellent writer.  Here is one about a dream she had  just before  her high school graduation. I wonder what it really means?

DREAM –  MAY 8, 2000

Lionnell and I (along w/some others) went for a drive in my mom’s car.  Lionnell drove. We got to the place (sort of like Montgomery Village shopping center) and got out & met up with a bunch of other people.  Pat (from Malcontent) showed up & was blabbering, then I patted his stomach.  Then Brad Petit shows up & suggests driving to New York cause it’s on the way home.

It was 11 o’clock@ night — I said we had to be home since my mom

Birdsong and his family still grieve the loss of our youngest daughter Krystal who passed away on September 20, 2008.  We have been going through her  effects, including her writings.  When Krystal graduated from high school she still lived in the Washington, D.C. area only joining us in Florida later.  We have found a couple of pieces in one of her “journals” that seem to describe a religious seminar she attended around the time of her high school graduation.  I certainly had never heard about it.  Perhaps, she made it up?

So we’re at Creation!  we’re all so BLESSED!  Last night was great — the drive was beautiful — only about 2 hours to PA. Neato!

Everyone here is sooo nice and filled to the brim with God’s Spirit.  Just like me.  I can totally feel the Spirit in me and everyone else!

It’s Thursday now.  Yesterday was sooo excellent!!  Amanda and I went down to the Prayer Tent & cried w/a bunch of

Birdsong posts herewith two more poems written by his daughter Krystal.  Krystal passed into the Lord’s hands on September 20, 2008.

“LIFE”

Life recycles life.

One begins while another is only half lived, dead.

New friends and old relationships blossom and become one.

Krystal Birdsong's Writings 9

Birdsong is proud that his daughter Krystal was  such a very good writer during the short time she stayed with us here on earth.  Our family misses her so!  Nevertheless, in going through her effects after her passing we have come upon her journals where she wrote her poems and songs.  Krystal never shared these writings with her family, but now that I have found them Birdsong would like to share them with a wider world.  The following work is labeled as a dream.

As many of you know Birdsong’s youngest child, Krystal, passed away last September.  The family has been heartbroken at her untimely demise.  However, we have discovered some of her journals where she kept her poems, musings, and other writings.  I enjoy sharing her writings with a wider world.  Here are a couple of poems we found.

STUCK

Something gets stuck and jams the gears.

Then my heart beats as would a primitive wanderer’s in the dead of winter with the gears locked pressure builds up in
