Mankato, MN: Two young girls wearing their PJ’s were seen walking along a street late at night leading a goat.  They told a police officer who stopped them that he was their pet, he lived in a closet and they sneaked him out for a nightly walks to keep their parents from knowing they had the pet.  An investigation revealed that the girls had attended a birthday party at a local zoo earlier in the day and had gone back that night to make the goat their own.

SWEDEN: A Swedish man was recently arrested for firing a gun out of a window of his apartment in an effort to shoot down a UFO.  It was his girlfriend who called the police on the man.  Although he was arrested, the man was in good spirits and told police that “all was OK because he was able to shoot down the attacking spaceship.”

Miami, FL: A woman was arrested after she drew a picture of a bomb and wrote the word “Boom” on her friend’s suitcase as a prank before the friend left for the Miami airport. The friend tried to check the bag with the bomb picture on it. This caused a major airport alert.  The friend was not arrested but we are uncertain whether she made her flight.

 MARYLAND: Talk about Medicare fraud! One of the latest outrages involves a Maryland podiatrist who pleaded guilty to defrauding the Medicare program out of more than $1 million.  Larry Bernhard, 55, faces two years in prison after admitting to turning in fraudulent invoices.  Among those fraudulent invoices was one for foot care to a man who was a double leg amputee.

Cincinnati, OH: A man was arrested for having sex with an inflatable pool raft. The owner of the raft saw Edwin Tobergta in an alleyway having his way with the raft and called the police.  The police report maintained that the “defendant advised officers…he has a problem and needs help.”
