PENNSLYVANIA:  Police in Stowe Township report that 72 year old Harriet Swegger had a hard day.  Swegger was first robbed in a grocery store when a woman bumped into her, grabbed her checkbook and ran off.  Swegger headed off to a police station to report the crime, but when she asked for directions, a man reached into her car and grabbed her purse and ran off with it.

NEW JERSEY: A 21 year old Plainfield man and his 26 year old female companion jumped out of their car when they saw what appeared to be a mugger assaulting a pedestrian. They tussled with the man while the woman ran off. When police arrived they determined that the woman had been the mugger and that she had stolen $400 in cash and a gold chain worth $500 from the 26 year old victim.

            PROVES NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED…

 

COLORADO: A woman beat up her ex-boyfriend – with his artificial leg! Jadian Hatfield pummeled hapless Brandon Fleming while trying to snatch the couple’s child in a domestic dispute. Despite losing his leg, Fleming continued to try to save the boy until Hatfield allegedly pulled a shotgun. He was able to call 911. She was soon arrested.

            YES, WE KNOW, AT TRIAL SHE WON’T HAVE A LEG TO STAND ON…

 

CLORADO: A Denver mail carrier says he did, in fact, notice the rotting corpse on the porch steps while making a delivery but thought it was just another Halloween display.  The U.S. Postal Service confirmed that he stumbled upon the body of Dale Porch, 46, who had collapsed and died November 2 after getting home from his night job.  “When the carrier learned the truth, he was shocked and extremely upset,” officials maintained in a statement.
