DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA: A Washington, DC area school has officially charged a mother and father of making their three young children late for school.  Amy and Marc Denicore are facing three misdemeanor charges, each carrying a $500 fine. Their children aged 6,7 and 9 have been late nearly thirty times between September and January, usually by less than three minutes. The Denicores maintain no matter what the school authorizes they believe they have not committed a crime. It is no clear whether the school officials realize that both the parents are trained lawyers.

GERMANY: Police in Germany were shocked when they caught the North Korean ambassador fishing illegally in a stream.  When he was told to pull his pole out of the water he brazenly declared he had diplomatic immunity and kept his line in the water. After ambassador Ri Si Hong arrogantly waved authorities away, one police officer told reporters, “My colleagues are extremely frustrated.”
