Florida: A Florida ex-con arrested for trying to break back into prison because he couldn’t take life out on the streets was sentenced to 15 years for violating his parole. Sylvester Jiles, 25, had been released after serving time for manslaughter, but said he wanted back in because he feared retaliation from his victim’s family.
The just punishment would have been not to jail him and leave him on the mean streets.
Dallas, TX: Krystal Gardner, 28, tried to stop a Dallas repo man from taking her car by tossing her year-old child into the back seat as he pulled away. Her 15 year old son then shot the man in the leg with a 12 gauge shotgun. Gardner and her son were arrested and the infant was taken into the custody of social services.
Deadbeats with no class!
Washington: A Washington state husband flew into a rage during couples counseling at his local church and shot and killed his ex-wife. Charles Parsons had been trying to convince his ex to get back together with him but she refused. Parsons surrendered to police immediately.
Dying for love!
Florida: A polite Florida thief apologetically carjacked a woman calling her “ma’am” and saying he was sorry. He put a knife against the woman’s side and said, “I need your keys, ma’am. Please, and you won’t get hurt. I’m sorry.” He then drove off with her car and purse.
Chivalry is not really dead after all!
New Mexico: A New Mexico teenager allegedly defecated in a car thinking it was his girlfriend’s — problem is… it wasn’t. The car’s out of luck owner came upon Austin Horries Purifoy, 18, inside the vehicle, pulling up his underwear. “This is your car?” Purifoy said according to court documents. “I thought this was Desiree’s car.” Purifoy was indicted for property damage and breaking and entering.
He should have been made to clean up the mess in the car!
